SOME ONE LOVES YOU SO MUCH CONSIDER THIS,,about 2000 yrs. ago a very special gift was given to you,me,our kids and our kids kids.This gift was given because someone loved us so much and could not bear to see us separated from Him forever.We were separated from Him because we wanted to lead our lives the way we saw fit.We really didn't like anyone telling us what do,what we say or what we think is sometimes wrong or evil(we call this sin).But everything has a consequence.....just like if you're stea- ling,you will have to pay the penalty for stealing. This person wanted us to experience His Love for us.This person is God.Due to our tendency to do,think or say wrong or evil things,and because we wanted to lead our own lives we became seperated from Him.In order to redeem us back to Himself,someone would have to pay the penalty for all our wrong doings.That penalty was the death penalty. HE GAVE THE BEST HE HAD So God gave us the person that He loved the most-His only Son.His Son would be born into his world and He would take the punishment on our behalf.His Son would pay the ultimate price by giving up his life in exchange for our lives. His Son suffered the cruelest of death. *He had thorns pushed into his head *He was beaten up *He was whipped beyond recognition.His entire body was ripped to shreds. *He was finally nailed to two pieces of wood and left to die. Die he did.He took the punishment that was meant for you,me,and our children.But there is a very special ending to His story which I will tell you about later. ACCORDING TO HIS WORD,HE DIED SO THAT * the penalty and the price of our sins would be paid for and we would be forgiven *we would be healed from all our sicknesses and diseases This is how much God loves you.His Son was born 2000 years ago so that we would not be punished.This was His gift to us,His Son Jesus Christ.Can you imagine any of your friends giving up his/her life so that you might have victory in all areas of your life? |
